Why it needs to be outside your site
Some things a plugin can't do for itself.
The SecureLite plugin protects your site from the inside, for free. But a few problems can only be seen from somewhere else.
A site that's down can't email you
If the server stops, nothing on it runs, including the plugin. Something outside has to notice the silence.
A plugin that's switched off can't raise the alarm
Someone who gets into your files can turn any plugin off. A check from outside sees that the site has stopped reporting in.
Records kept on the site can be changed
Whoever gets into a site can edit what's stored there. A copy kept elsewhere stays as it was.

What won't change
Cloud adds to the plugin. It never takes from it.
- Every feature in the plugin stays free, on unlimited sites.
- Protection works exactly the same whether a site is connected or not.
- Connecting a site will be optional, and we'll say exactly what it sends before you do.
- Cloud will never be priced by how much traffic your sites get.
Questions
Before you join.
Do I need Cloud to be protected?
No. The free plugin protects your site on its own, and always will. Cloud is for knowing when something goes wrong that the site can't tell you about itself, like being down.
Is it only for agencies?
No. It's planned for anyone, whether you look after one site or a hundred. Agencies will get the most from seeing all their sites in one place.
When will it open, and what will it cost?
We haven't set a date, and we won't publish prices until it's ready. Everyone on the waitlist hears first, with the prices, before anything is charged.
What will you send to my email address?
One email when Cloud opens. If you also answer the survey and say you're happy to talk, we may ask for a short call. That's all. Reply to any email, or write to hello@pixelgravitas.com, to have your address deleted.
My site has a problem right now.
Cloud can't help yet. If your site has been hacked, PixelGravitas can remove the malware for a fixed fee agreed before work starts. If you're locked out, the docs show four ways back in.
